‘The E Company 2nd Volunteer Battalion, the Queen’s Royal West Surrey Regiment, have a drill hall in Park lane, and number about 107 men.’ (Kelly, 1891)
2nd Volunteer Battalion became 5th Battalion Territorial Force in 1908.
By 1913 the address was listed as ‘Drill hall, Bear lane.’
We believe that this drill hall may have been demolished.
