'H' 5 York & Lancaster

This drill hall used to be the recruiting hall for the Yorks and Lancashire Regiment. It is now a hair and beauty salon, but has previously been used as a hire shop, army surplus shop and the rear part of the building was used for many years as Birdwell Gun Club. Cadets have a new purpose built building at the side of the old drill hall. [2008]
